Based on a True Story(Mama Told Me)

Spent most of my days on the streets of London Town. Seen a thing or two, thought I was pretty damn hard. Had a few fights, scars on both eyes, I could say that I, been around, roughed up a few times. But it was fists and blades, I ain't never seen a gun, till I met this brother Mike, Rude Boi from Compton. Till then it was brothers in the hood on a movie screen, (didn't know things were gonna change.) He was only 5 years old before his mother had died, had a daddy but he wasn't ever around. Grand mother did the best she could, but lil Mike was lookin' up to the brothers in the neighbourhood. From two different worlds, we found common ground, I admired his will to survive, make a better life. He found it real funny, I ain't never seen a gun (that shit was crazy), but I had to let it go. Something ain't right, like a thorn in my side. I walked in, he was pacing, like he was waiting for something, holding on his gun, hands were shaking. He said, 'Don't worry baby', reaching for the door, but a car pullin up, noheadlights on. And the look on him face, givin' it away- I knew shit was bout to go crazy...
